If it's the html editor you would click on "Tools" at the top then "Preferences" then on the "General" tab top left corner is a selection for what you want to open on start up.

I worked on an html webpage today and saved it and exited the HTML Editor. I did not close the file, I merely exited the Editor, but I saved it.

Later when I went back, I had to open the file from recent files. Previously, I would open the HTML Editor and the files I was working on would be there on Startup.

There is nothing I can see in Tools\/Preferences/General to make them appear on startup of the Editor....!

Open HTML Editor. Go to Tools/Preferences. Under the 'General' tab look for 'Application Startup'. Click on the arrow on the first line and select 'Open last open documents'. Should do the job.

Quick question...are you using 'Projects' ?
