1 Nothing will induce my web pages to upload - it tells me the domain name and/or password are wrong when they are not
I have to use my provider rather than your Sdrive thing, because the email with which I log onto you is not the same as the domain name of my web pages. One is john@staithes.demon.co.uk and the other is john@moorsidecounselling.co.uk for which I have a web site.

2. The program won't open without a struggle. When it does it requires 'permission to make changes to the computer' every time

3. When I try to preview my pages, I just get a blank screen. It did work properly earlier but now it has stopped doing so.

I have spent all day revising my web pages. Now I'm stuck trying to upload them.

What program are you using? HTML Editor or Visual Site Designer? One other quick question, if you are using windows then are you running the program with Admin rights? The more information you can provide, the better chance someone will come up with an answer.

Yeah as Gunsmoke mentioned, try setting it to Run as Administrator and see if that fixes most of your issues and let us know.

To change the compatibility to Run as Administrator do the following:

1. Right click the shortcut on your desktop for the program you are using.
2. Choose Properties from the menu.
3. Choose the Compatibility tab on the window that opens.
4. Put a check in the check box at the bottom for Run as Administrator.
5. Click OK and try starting the program again and see if that helps.

Not knowing the programme(s) makes us just come up with guesses. One of the guesses could be: In ftp, have you tried toggling the passive mode either on or off?

Regarding the blank page: could you let us know the code you have been using? Since it has not been uploaded, you could either zip it up and attach it to a post here, or simply paste the whole lot from top to bottom and let us take a peek. Maybe we will be able to tell you what is wrong.
