Hello all,
WI shows it recommends adding "Browser Caching" to the .htaccess file.
It seems simple enough but wondering if many here do add it?
If so I should add what CC has on this page?
http://www.coffeecup.com/help/articles/ … r-caching/
Do I have to change anything at all or just copy and paste what is shown??

As always Thank You for any help given, it is appreciated very much.

It should be possible to use as is.

If you have Sonar, I think the help given there is easier to understand.

Thanks Inger this is something that is recommended by WI after a scan but not sure if needed. Overall looks like just a few items to be adressed. No Sonar only WI.

Inger, hoping that your husband will be ok! Both of us are saying extra prayers for you both.

You can download a trial of Sonar and do a check.

The surgery seems to have gone well. Just waiting to learn what kind of tumor it was.

Thanks Inger - I did do that 1st did the Sonar trial but it also showed I had to upgrade to full ap in order to view more info. That is why I went for WI thinking it does more than Sonar

We will continue to pray and hope all will ok.

Hello again, Well still having some sort of problem that I cannot figure out. WI test showed that I should add " Leverage "Browser Caching" to the .htaccess file in my root directory. Ok I did do that using the one CC has here: http://www.coffeecup.com/help/articles/ … r-caching/ Did a test with WI again and it STILL shows I should add the " Leverage "Browser Caching" SO I than went to one that was recommended on a different thread at https://varvy.com/pagespeed/leverage-br … ching.html and deleted the other one and added this one in its place in the .htaccess file Uploaded also to my root directory and SAME problem after doing another WI Scan it shows I should add the " Leverage "Browser Caching" ??? This is so simple what could I be doing wrong?? I added the text for browser caching in top of the .htacess file, everything else in the .htacess file still works. Do I have to also add something in the HEADER????
Will still keep trying to see what I may be doing wrong and any help is appreciated.

I kept working with the .htaccess file and don't know how BUT now the Leverage Browser Caching is working and Google shows a 95 out of 100 which I am pleased with. The only fallback is now for some reason the site was showing www.kreationspecialties.com when typed in address bar BUT now reverted back to url with /index.html Anyone have an idea how to have the index not show again? Not really a problem but I did have it working goid before adding the browser caching.
