Do you want just a domain name? Or are you looking for hosting too? You must have a 'Host' to provide space on the internet for your web site to exist. Depending on what you want to do...looks like buxhost is pretty expensive. You could just buy a domain name and use CoffeeCup S-Drive for hosting. If all you need is a simple web site, then buy a program to maintain it. HTML editor or Visual Site Designer. At that point you get FREE hosting with S-Drive. Then you can purchase a domain name from several places, very affordable. As Adam suggested you can even get it here! Hassel free. No matter where you purchase it, it can be transferred to S-Drive in just a few days. Or just skip it and use the domain you will get with S-Drive.
example would be: yourchurch.coffeecup.com That would be FREE.

Any programs you buy from CoffeeCup, you buy for life. If they are updated you get the update for free. For life. Never pay for them again.

Then, if the needs of your web site grow, you can always upgrade your hosting to a better plan later. This way you only pay for what you need, and not a lot of features you'll never use.

And I would say the support you will receive here is better than anywhere else. It's outstanding. Just look at the comments on this forum and you'll begin to understand. This forum is made up of users just like yourself. Sometimes the CoffeeCup team members will check in here to see if they can help out, but usually it is just users. However, if you have a problem we can't help you with, there is a way to open a support ticket with CoffeeCup and talk directly with someone who can help you. It's the best of both worlds.

So, jump right in. You can download HTML Editor or VSD right away. You get a FREE trial of the fully functional program to see if it meets your needs. You'll get plenty of support and help. Just ask. And when you're ready, purchase the program for a reasonable fee, and never pay for it again. Have your web site up and active in no time at all.

The problem with having the free account is that you have to have coffeecup in the name, which is not what many would like, esp for an organization, it's OK for some personal testing etc. The other price plans are reasonable however.
The host that I always turn to, that's non CC is 111webhost.com I can't see how it can be bettered (I don't have any affiliation) but great support and cheap as chips.

To answer the actual question asked, I've never heard of Buxhost so... no I'm not partial to it lol. I tend to use 1and1.com, domainmonster.com or mydomain.com for the most part. They are the average in prices and have pretty decent customer service... not that I've had to use it much at all as it's pretty easy to setup.
