"Coffeecup html editor stopped...
I know that some people have been able to fix this by changing the permission or running as administrator, but that did not fix it for me. Any new idea? I would love to try this out but it has never run. I have reinstalled twice with no change. [windows vista home premium]
Thanks,

Some questions:
Did you let it install to its default location? (You should)
Did you download the Editor through your browser or some downloading agent? (Browser is best)
Do you have firewalls or antivirus trying to stop you downloading and installing? (Turn them off while you are working)
Have you turned off the annoying UAC on your system (better do that)
Normally the html Editor has no problems being installed on Vista Home premium, running as Admin should not be necessary.

I never had a problem with Vista either. What version and build are you running? In other words, is it the most recent version? Version and Build are located under "help" then "about" in the html editor.

I'm having the same problem which seems to have started after re-setting IE 9 on the Advanced tab back to all its defaults. Sometimes when clicking on a radio button, Coffee Cup opens the pdf file as expected. Other times I get the message "Coffee Cup has stopped working..." By the way, what is the UAC? Thanks for your help.
This will help.

Eric:
Thank You. The problem is corrected. Just in case other CC users might run into the same situation, here is what happened and what it took to correct it.
I would open the html code for file A in the Code Editor and then click on Preview. File A would open. File A invited the user to click on B or C or D to open one of those files. Click on C and it would open. Returning from C to A and then trying to open B or D is where the problem occured. If I used the back button CC would stop working when I tried to open B or D. If I used Code Editor and then Preview, B or D would open satisfactorily.
