If I purchase the responsive pack, which has site designer is there any good reason to purchase either the foundation or bootstrap builder as well? If all I'm looking for is to build a responsive site, I'd like to know

Welcome to the forum. Since you have Site Designer there's no need for either of those other apps because SD has both of them built in.
