From CoffeeCup to Wordpress and Back...

Hello CoffeeCup friends,
I started with CoffeeCup many years ago and enjoyed my experiences in my pursuit of learning HTML and building websites for my clients and myself. I ventured into a few CMS platforms and currently have been working with WordPress sites. One of the reasons the prodigal returned was due to recent issues regarding possible security issues going forward with WordPress, as I was reading some reports of websites I had frequented being hacked with user info and such possibly at risk.

One of the benefits I saw with a WordPress system was the ability to publish and keep track of posts, such as press releases, news stories, blog posts, you know things like that. I wasn't sure if working with the current CoffeeCup tools had a similar workflow or way that I could accomplish something similar.

Thanks for the help and any guidance you could provide, it is so appreciated.
Joyfully,
Simeon

Hi Simeon,
Are you referring to their S-Drive hosting and publishing through one of their web design apps such as Site Designer?
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

Eric,
Not specifically, just wondering what the possibilities were, and if a similar blogging or news article type of publishing workflow was available without using a CMS.
Thanks for the help.

There's no CMS built into any CC apps so far. They did just add the ability to use php in Site Designer. Not sure how that works on S-Drive but on manual export for your own host it's the bomb. I user the HTML Editor to enhance my SD sites anyways but I'm enjoying the new feature as I can add a lot of the php code before export so I don't have to keep hacking my sites.
