Hello Everyone

I'm newbie to the realm of web developers and I've came seeking your help to guide me to the right path.
I've dowloaded a website's code and I got a lot of files and folders. Despite having a basic knowledge of CSS,HTML,PHP I can't seem to locate or even understand the role of each files and how to retrieve the code and understand it.
Any useful links or TUTO videos will be highly appreciated. I'm ready to read everything if it takes.

Thank you with all my respect.

Hi chris,
I would grab one of CC's applications and start building. They have plenty of how to videos and there's lots of users on here that can help you out if you get stuck.
I can't hear what I'm looking at.
It's easy to overlook something you're not looking for.

This is a site I built for my work.(RSD)

Chris, If the files you downloaded are html, css and php, grab the HTML Editor, it can open all those files. Then you can study both the 'front' and the 'back' of them to see what they all do. Especially if one of the files is called 'index.html' then that is the one to start with.
If you have downloaded the files from an existing site that you want to replicate, you could let us know which site, and we might perhaps be of better help, if you need help, that is.
Ha en riktig god dag!

First, you have to learn basic HTML & CSS

For this purpose go to the W3School website where you learn these things easily.

W3Schools is one of the best sites to learn a lot of languages. Besides HTML, CSS you should be able to read and decode the main programming language like JScript, PHP & asp.net
