It really depends on what you like. For old school coders notepad++ is great. If you like the visual component of working with your code HTML Editor is what you want. Check it out here and scroll down to the Visual Code Selector section:

After reading this thread I'm more confused than when I started. There seems to be (for arguments sake) three versions of HTML editor - The "paid" version, the "trial" version and the "free" version. Correct?
I've installed the trial version and the free version - the trial works for 15 days and then what? The free version works for 21 days and then certain features no longer work? So what is the difference between the trial version and the free version???

You can google WCAG and you will find masses on creating accessible web content.
