Just start viewing the web... When you come across a site that you like (or like some particular portion of) press Ctrl+U and you can see the "behind the scenes" code. Save it to your HD or print it out (for easy learning) go back to that site, and study the code as you view the page to try to determine how things were done.

Thats exactly how I learned. It works, as long as you are a little patient. :)

The best way to learn is to get a company/organization that wants a website. If you're still in school, ask some clubs or groups if you could make them something simple. That way you're also practicing dealing with clients and meeting their needs/desires which is a crucial skill... when it comes to the internet, life moves fast and time lost with a site down can make you lose customers.

Wow and Wow again,
pay no attention to the man (code) behind the curtain.
Thank you , I have a world to code to snoop.
I have programmed in several languages, Pascal, Basic, C, Cobol, and Fortran, that was a long time ago.
Thank you, magic ones.

Have something to add? We’d love to hear it!
