Hi! I have a question. I am new to this and have been building my web page by myself. I bought a web page from Yola as it seemed so simple and in reality it is an cheap too... Maybe not the best choice but it seemed good for me.
Now that I built my web page and it is on-line (http://www.englishconnectionmexico.com) I see that the HTML code builder is limited.. That is why I am interested in CoffeeCup as it seems to offer so much and I guess it is easy and takes time to learn. Now my problem is when I build a code in CoffeeCup and copy it and paste it in my HTML page, it doesn't seem to work. Is that because it is a trial offer or am I just not doing something right?
I will purchase this program if in-fact it works with Yola, otherwise, since it is paid for and I do like the easy of Yola, I would be throwing my money away if I can't use all the features from CoffeeCup...
I would appreciate any help or a yes or no to using CoffeeCup code builder with Yola...
I have a lot to learn and it is only for my webpage, but I want it to look as good as it can be from an amateur...
Thanks
PS when I make a box in CoffeeCup and paste it in my Yola HTML page. it is not the same as the one I made in CoffeeCup.

Hi Jim,
It looks like you're going in 2 different directions with this - It seems that Yola provides you with a WYSIWYG site builder, but you're wanting to write your own code with the CC Editor. The Yola site builder is more for those who don't want to have to learn html, css, etc., so it has it's own way of working (behind the scenes) so the user can drag/drop and create whatever... Does it also actually provide a way to edit this code? How to you go about creating and inserting your code into the Yola page?
Maybe a little more info about what you're trying to do in the CC Editor (or what you're trying to add to the Yola page) would make it easier for someone to help you with this.

Jim,
Also keep in mind that the website builder you are using with Yola is different from the server used to host your website (your physical location on the internet). CC's products should have no problem working with the servers you use, you just have to know how to access them so that you can upload your CC pages to your website. So whether or not it will work doesn't really matter since you can upload any website you want on a server.
I think the two CC options you should consider is the Visual Site Designer or the HTML editor. The HTML editor does not give you a lot of visual help, but you can create all of the html code you want to create your website. VSD gives you not only a robust feature set to use, but you can also insert html as you need to with their html tool.
Hope this helps.
