All of a sudden my images will not show up on my project just the small image icon. I'm using Site Designer 4.0 in the Foundation frame work 6.5.3.They do however show up when I preview my project.

Randy, I'm on a very bad connection and I wasn't able to see everything properly, but from what I could see I'd suggest:
Create a MUCH simpler folder structure for your images.
Not so many folders inside each other, and give them shorter names.
Don't use spaces in your folder names, and don't use upper case. Names like this: 'wild-shooting' are better than 'Wild About Shooting'.
Also your file names should follow the same naming principles.

You may have packed too much into the actual image links, not sure about that though, because of my bad connection.
There might be other things to observe, and If there are, Eric will surely find them for you.

That's really odd that the image is in the resources properly but doesn't show within SD but does show on browser preview.
Create a new folder in the resources and change the name slightly. It looks to be a conflict with the directory already within the theme. I added a folder named product-images then added the images to that and relinked and they show correctly.

I guess that Eric found the relevant files by exporting the project to the hard drive, and loading them from there to the Project Resources. I found it interesting that, when I exported the project to my hard drive, the sub-folder \1023pat_exported\images contained images which I failed to find at all in the Project Resources box of the .rsd file. For example, the first missing display of a picture in the project file's canvas is shown in the Selected Element Properties panel to be a local image at ./images/catalog1.jpg. I couldn't find that image in any of the folders in the Project Resources box, but it was in the exported sub-folder mentioned above.

Since the matter is described in the first post as having happened all of a sudden, I'm wondering whether somehow the project file has become corrupted. If so, it might be worth going back to the most recent non-problem backup and working from that.

I didn't export the project. I looked in the resources and all of the images were there as they were linked within SD. I tried changing their names and relinking but the only thing that worked was placing the images in a new directory.
