Hello,
What does it mean when the tag <?php appears in red in CoffeeCup ? I installed Wampps, do I need to do anything else? The PHP code doesn' t seem to function in Coffeecup for now.
Thanks,
Regards,
Peter
PHP in Coffee Cup ? - Post ID 282218
First of all, which Coffeecup programme are you using?
Secondly, with which file extension did you save your file?
Where did you save it to?
If you are using the HTML Editor, php delimiters are always in red. You can change it to another colour in Preferences, though.
With WAMPserver I think there is a www folder that yoou need to save your files to. It's a long time since I've used WAMP, so I don't remember exactly. Also, you need to save your files as .php. I've never tried adding a .htaccess file to that folder, with instructions to parse php in html files, but maybe it is possible. But if you are using php includes, the included files have to be .php.
