Translations - Post ID 164250
Hi, I was wondering if there's possibilities for the main site and eventually the software to be translated in other languages, like Romanian? Is it possible for people to make patches to submit for the software, for example? I did a lot of translation work on this website http://www.psihosuport.ro and would definitely be interested in helping with something like this. I think there are people here that would like to benefit from stuff like this but don't grasp English well enough to use them.
Thanks for your time!
Thanks for your time!
We have asked about this many times, and some of us have offered to help. Efforts have been made to have the CC website translated too. I don't think they're ready for it yet...

Considering that I'm sure your interest was in Norwegian, judging by the signature, I'm afraid I'll have to take the opportunity to mention that I have a Norwegian Elkhound, who is probably one of the coolest things on the planet. Likely 'cause Norway is one of the coolest places on the planet.
Have you been to Norway, Bogdan?
Anyway, the Elkhound is a very popular breed here. There are actually two breeds, the black and the grey elkhound. Which is yours?
Regarding the translation of this website: I offered to do a German translation because that was one of the languages they were interested in some years back. I did 6 to 8 pages that I submitted, but I never heard any more about it.

Sorry for the delay in responding!
Yep, as a matter of fact I stayed there for about a year as an au pair, several years back. My grandparents hosted a foreign exchange student from there when my dad was in high school, and, with starting to have kids, she needed help, so I landed a sweet spot. Even got paid, plus room and board. Pretty much outside of Bergen, on an island even....
He's a grey Elkhound. So much love and personality and soooo much stubbornness. I don't know if he gets it from me or if I get it from him. Nah, I know they're typically very smart and very stubborn-headed.... Great dogs.
Is that you with the bees?
