Can Web Form Builder be used for more than just submitting form data? That is, could you build forms that could be used as simple database frontends for add/update/delete of data?

I've tried a number of open source and commercial products for doing this, with the top contenders according to me, so far as:

The combination of Web Form Builder + S-Drive could be a good combo for doing this. Is this something Web Form Builder could/is being used for?

That would be a no on the "can you do it with S-Drive situation" as S-Drive does not allow you to use PHP as of yet.

Webform builder is an add to data base script not an edit current database script. I'm using the webform builder on the front end of an inventory script then some custom php to squeeze the data back out of the database and display as needed. I also have some custom php scripts for editing or deleting current form submissions. If you Google it there's plenty of examples showing you how to connect to your data base and be able to change a current line that the form builder submitted. As JoAnn stated your not going to be able to do this on S-drive as of today. You never know CC might allow custom scripts some day or make it part of the form builder. Fingers and toes crossed here.
