I have no experience with website building but I see to be managing well so far! I built our tour site using Kompozer and it was a good effort but to be honest, too old looking I think. So I am in the process of completing the site again with CoffeeCup, My question is this...What happens to the published html files of the old website? Do I have to get rid of them somehow? Any help would be appreciated. (have already uploaded new website and it seems to be working fine...)

If you still have the files of your old site stored on your machine, you can zip them and keep them as a memory or archive, if you like. Or, if you haven't uploaded the new site yet, you could download the CoffeeCup free FTP programme. Set it up and with it you can inspect what you have at the server. If you want to keep the old files, you could download them and do as I said above. With that free FTP you can also delete the old site if you want to.

If your new site has the same file names, the old files will be overwritten. If the file names of the new site are different, the old files will still be there if you don't delete them.
