I am helping a friend set up a basic website. He will be selling a product that has to be shipped in an oversized box and the only company that will ship it is Fedex Ground. I can't figure out how to input all the information needed to use Fedex - different zip codes and so forth. The shipping will be based on volume instead of weight - or so I've been told. Is there a simple solution and can someone help me - I am truly a novice at this :). Thanks,

I don't know about the configuration details, but for oversize (which is almost everything we ship) that should correspond to a weight. i.e. I ship a 22 lb box that is 24x36x9 which bills as 30 lbs. So I use 30 lbs to create a quote if I can't put in the box size.

hope that make sense.

For what it's worth, I've shipped an item (UPS) that was oversize and they went strictly by volume rather than by weight--which was unfortunate for my checkbook because it was large but light. It was a product return and the shipping ended up costing me almost as much as the original purchase. :P
